First Steps, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization funded in part by the Tennessee Department of Developmental Disabilities, United Way of Metropolitan Nashville and the Dell Foundation. Our annual operating budget requires extensive fundraising efforts and community support. Without the support of the community, First Steps would be unable to meet its nearly $1.3M operating budget of which approximately 85% goes directly to services for children and their families.
